The FOCUS on Praise - Jazz Dance Workshop. Come learn to express your worship for the Lord through Jazz dance. The workshop will be
catered to teens and adults. Participates will leave with some basic jazz dance techniques and a
understanding of how to use this form of dance as a a form of expression in worship.
“Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise
His name with dancing, make music to Him....” (Psalm 149:2-3,NIV)
The last hour will be dedicated to the recording of the Focus on Praise TV Broadcast. Workshop participates will present their group dance peice on the show.
Items to bring to class if you have them:
• Comfortable clothing that allows free movement
• Pants or Jeans for Presentations
• Jazz dance shoes or bare feet
Guest Instructor - Renee Choate' and Minister Rachel Moore, author of Rivers of Praise Worship through Movement, will team up to teach the workshop. A love offering will be appreciated.
